The Israel Ride is an annual fully-supported 250 to 325 mile bicycle ride across the southern part of Israel. The ride starts in Jerusalem, goes to the Mediterranean Sea at Ashkelon, crosses the Negev Desert, and ends in Eliat on the Red Sea.

Each rider pays a registration fee and their travel expenses and must commit to raise a certain amount of donations to benefit the Arava Institute for Environment Studies and Hazon, organizations that work to improve regional environment issues and promote peace in the region through cross-cultural dialogues and projects with Jordanians, Palestinians, and Israelis.
